For over 65 years, SPEX® SamplePrep has provided sample preparation equipment and supplies to laboratories worldwide. Our products are used for cutting-edge research in pharmaceuticals, superconductors, polymers, forensics, genetics and biotechnology. Our cryogenic mills, homogenizers, laboratory mills, grinders, fusion fluxers and presses are recognized as the world’s most effective and are backed by exceptional service and expertise. History

SPEX SamplePrep, LLC was founded in 1954 to manufacture superior sample preparation equipment and supplies for spectroscopists. Our equipment is used to prepare samples for a wide range of analytical technologies, including XRF, ICP, GC-MS and PCR. We are the industry standard for reliability and durability in the laboratory, and our products have been used in landmark studies such as analysis of the moon rocks brought back by NASA and identification of the remains of Czar Nicholas II and his family.
